The Atlas mark: a globe resolving from white relief into a satellite view with a hurricane in the North Atlantic

Atlas Digital Design · Denver, Colorado

Growth engineering and software for catalog businesses.

Atlas Digital Design builds and maintains what an online store runs on: product data that search engines and AI assistants can read, feeds to Google and Pinterest, analytics that show where sales come from, and reporting built from the company's own sales records.

Atlas Digital Design LLC develops and owns three software products, Atlas Ascent, Karpo and Thallo, alongside its growth engineering services. Engagements start with a written diagnosis and continue as monthly growth engineering, which includes use of Karpo.

One engagement, measured

3.5 times the store sessions recorded by Shopify: 31,359 from June through September 2026 against 8,982 in the same four months of 2025. Pinterest brings more than half of them.

Twice the clicks from Google search, from about 2.5 a day in late May 2026 to about 5 by August, read in Search Console. The growth is people searching for the store and its plans by name. Broad category searches have not moved yet and are the next piece of work.

30 to 172 visits a month arriving from ChatGPT, July to September 2026, read in Google Analytics.

1.5 seconds Largest Contentful Paint for real visitors on phones across the store, with Core Web Vitals passing, in Chrome’s field data for the 28 days to October 3, 2026.

The engagement

What the engagement included.

Search built from the product data up

Plan names, titles, descriptions and collection pages were rebuilt, and custom structured data now gives search engines each plan’s specifications as numbers. Schema.org has no type specific to house plans, so the product markup was extended for this catalog. Semrush site audits have scored it 97 with zero errors in every scan since August 2026.

Channels that can be measured

Pinterest’s integration wrote catalog links with no tracking, so its shopping traffic had never been separable from an ordinary pin. The replacement feed is built from the store’s own data, tags every link by plan, and was accepted 66 of 66. Campaign tagging now lets Shopify separate paid Google traffic from organic, and 42 tagged sessions arrived on the first day.

AI search, measured by hand

A fixed set of buying questions is put to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude in rounds, with every site change logged by date so each answer is read against the version that was live. In one September round, Perplexity listed a collection page that had been absent as its first source for a buying question, quoting a sentence added six days earlier.

Sign-ups that carry the plan

A $75 study set is now the first purchase offered to new visitors, credited in full against the plan. The arrival popups and the automatic welcome discount were removed. A sign-up records the plan the visitor was viewing and the list they saved, so follow-up can start from that plan.

What was decided against

A template scoped for nine collection pages turned out to be one theme setting. A proposed Black Friday sale was dropped after seven years of dated orders showed that week running below an ordinary one.

Software

25,562 messages read into one ledger

Karpo builds a sales ledger from a company’s email.

Order confirmations, marketplace statements, receipts and quote requests usually sit scattered across years of email. Karpo reads them into one ledger with reports on revenue by channel and on conversion from request to sale. It also maps where the buyers are, by state and region, and which plans sell where. Each release is compared row by row against a saved reference set, and its July 2026 total matched the marketplace’s own statement to the cent.

Karpo is included with every monthly engagement, with standalone licenses as the goal. Thallo, a plan search by lot, is in development, and Atlas Ascent, a lifting app for travelers, is in alpha. All three are on the products page.

How engagements work

A diagnosis first, then a system that stays maintained.

A storefront, its data, its feeds and its advertising work as one system, and the costly faults usually involve more than one of them. A wrong price in a shopping feed came from the way a sales channel app exports the catalog. A doubled conversion count came from a custom pixel firing beside the platform’s own tag. One engagement covers all of them, so a fault that crosses two areas has an owner.

Every engagement starts with a written diagnosis, quoted per site and credited against the first month if the work continues. Monthly growth engineering follows. Rebuilds run on a retainer of around six months, then move to a reduced retainer plus a performance fee that applies only to growth above an agreed baseline.

The work can run alongside an existing front-end developer. For a full rebuild that includes design, Atlas Digital Design leads delivery.
